Dilution Guide
Window Cleanze is highly concentrated and comes in 500ml containers that have an accurate dosing section for easy and quick measurement. Every order comes complete with a syringe.
Water fed pole
- Add 1-3ml of Window Cleanze to 100L of water
- Use 1-2ml for regular monthly cleans and 3ml for first cleans
Traditional mop and squeegee
- Add 1-5ml of Window Cleanze to every 1L of water if using an additional detergent such as Fairy Liquid
- Add 5-10 ml to 1L of water if using Window Cleanze as the sole detergent
Dosing procedure
- Remove cap from the graduated measuring compartment of the bottle
- Squeeze the main body of the bottle and fill the measuring container
- Use the syringe to remove the required quantity of Window Cleanze and inject it into your de-ionised water tank (or bucket if using mop and squeegee), or simply pour directly from the bottle's measuring compartment
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Absolutely. An increasing number of customers prefer to choose biodegradable products whenever they can and so prefer to employ contractors who use them.
This varies according to dosage and the quantity of water used. A 500ml bottle will treat up to 50,000 litres of water, so if you use 1000 litres a week one bottle can last for 12 months.
What Dosage Should I Use?
1-3 ml per 100 L of water (5-10 ml in a 500 L tank).
Use 3ml if you have a lot of first cleans to work on. For repeat cleans 1-2ml is enough.
Try increasing and decreasing the dosage, because varying environments and types of glass will require different approaches. Being with smallest quantity and gradually increase the dosage until you find the most effective strength.
Can Window Cleanze be used to clean uPVC?
Asolutely. Window Cleanze works to clean a variety of surfaces, including uPVC and conservatory roofs.
Allowing it to activate for a short time can enhance the effectiveness of Window Cleanze, as with all surfactants, but this is not essential.
For example, when cleaning windows it's not necessary to allow Window Cleanze to activate. Simply add it to your purified de-ionised water and use normally. You can clean the sills and frames at the same time, as a regular part of the cleaning process.
Quick tip: For cleaning uPVC sills, frames, soffit, fascia and gutters that are seriously dirty we recommend first treating them with Benz Lightning Cleanze diluted 10:1.
Use Window Cleanze for ongoing, regular cleaning to keep your customers' uPVC looking great.
Can I use Window Cleanse in warm water?
Absolutely. Window Cleanze will clean even more deeply when your water is warm.
Will Window Cleanse affect the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids)?
Good news ... not at all.

Does Window Cleanze smell?
Concentrated Window Cleanze has a slight, pleasant aroma.
Window Cleanze can improve the "sheeting" on some hydrophobic glass. This means that the glass can be rinsed more easily at lower flow rates. The level of improvement will vary according to the composition of the glass and dosage.
